On Saturday, the Royal Family will come together to mark the official birthday of King Charles at an event filled with pomp and pageantry. The impressive ceremony of the King’s birthday parade, also known as Trooping the Colour, takes place every June.

Over 1,400 officers and soldiers form the parade, together with two hundred horses and over four hundred musicians. Royals travel in grand horse-drawn carriages as they make the short journey from Buckingham Palace to Horse Guards Parade, where the spectacle takes place.

Once the event is over, the royal party travel back to the Palace to step out on the Balcony to watch an impressive RAF Flypast in the skies above.

Here, the Daily Express explores which members of the Royal Family are set to attend Trooping the Colour 2025.

While Buckingham Palace is yet to officially confirm which members of the Royal Family will attend Trooping the Colour on Saturday, attendance is expected to mirror last year’s event.

The King and Queen will be the stars of the show on Saturday, as they step out to enjoy the spectacle in honour of the monarch.

Just like last year, Charles and Camilla will share a carriage, as the King has been advised not to ride on horseback due to his ongoing cancer treatment.

The Prince of Wales is expected to ride on horseback during the parade, alongside his aunt and uncle, Princess Anne and Prince Edward.

Sources have confirmed that the Princess of Wales will be joined by her three children, Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7, in another carriage. The Duchess of Edinburgh will ride with Sir Timothy Laurence and her children – if they are to attend.

The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester and the Duke of Kent are also expected to attend.
