MANY of us have desperately wished for the women or man of our dreams – be they tall or short, a worldly traveller or more of a homebody.

And it seems we’re not the only one with celebs from TOWIE star Mark Wright to Prince Harry confessing they too have wished for – and succeeded in bagging – their ideal women.

The men used the art of manifestation to do it. Manifestation, also known as The Law of Attraction, is the belief we can attract anything we desire into our lives, without limits.

“To manifest something, you must wholeheartedly believe you deserve it, are capable of it and can make it happen,” said manifesting expert, mindset coach and host of the Unbreakable Mindset podcast, Jude Daunt

It became popular a few years ago – and although many people believe it’s total nonsense – others are big fans.

Here, Fabulous delves into some of the biggest names who’ve used the practice to marry the woman they’ve always wanted…

Prince Harry, 39, and Meghan Markle, 42, have been together since 2016 and have come a long way since their first secret date at 76 Dean Street in London.

After tying the knot in 2018, they welcomed their first child Archie, moved to the US and then had their second child, Lilibet.

But long before the pair met, Prince Harry reportedly described the actress as his “ideal girl”.

Royal expert Katie Nicholl revealed his feelings during a Channel 4 documentary titled ‘When Harry Met Meghan: A Royal Romance’ back in 2018.

Katie said: “He had a crush on Rachel Zane [Meghan’s character in Suits] two years before he met Meghan and the reason I know is because I was having drinks with one of his friends.

“She told me she’d been on a night out with Prince Harry. He was single at the time, so she said, ‘Harry, who’s your ideal girl?’ And he said ‘Meghan Markle from Suits’”

Harry finally met the star through their mutual friend Markus Anderson – proof if you wish hard enough it could happen.

Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan

After an 11-year relationship with Lauren Goodger that ended in disaster, Mark Wright emerged as one of Essex’s most eligible bachelors.

But he was also known as someone who got the girl he wanted, including the likes of Sam Faiers and Lucy Mecklenburgh.

It wasn’t until he met Michelle, however, that he struggled as his ‘player’ reputation put her off him completely. This led to Mark, 36, chasing the Coronation Street actress for two whole years.

Back in 2021, a source told Fabulous: “He chased her for two years and she made him do that. He was used to getting any girl he wanted in Essex but Michelle was always the girl he’d speak about in interviews – she was his ultimate crush.”

And Mark didn’t deny it either as he said: “I just thought she was smoking hot. I’m going to make that girl my girlfriend.”

He later admitted to Jamie Laing on the Private Parts podcast: “I chased her for a while. Basically, she gave me the elbow for about a year and then finally I got my way, after a lot of work.

“I don’t know who was harder to crack actually, her or my American boss.”

Calvin, 39, and Vick, 34, have made headlines with their whirlwind relationship over the last two years – but their love story actually starts back in 2007.

While co-hosting Capital FM with Roman Kemp, the radio presented said on the show: “Calvin Harris asked Vick out on a date when he did Acceptable In The ‘80s.”

Vick replied: “He looked how he used to look, I was shallow, I was 19, and I said no and I went off with either Scouting For Girls, or The Wombats, I don’t which.

“I thought they were going to be bigger but no, it turns out Calvin Harris was going to turn into an Adonis.”

She later told You Magazine: “It’s something that we laughed about on our first proper date.

“We still laugh about it now.”

The pair were spotted together as a couple for the first time in 2022, which means it took Calvin a whopping 15 years to manifest this relationship into a reality.

Jason Momoa & Lisa Bonet

Jason, 44, and Lisa, 55, may not be together any longer, but their love story is one that still leaves people in awe.

Speaking to Esquire Magazine, Jason said she was “literally my childhood crush” at the age of eight. He later met her at a jazz club in 2005, where they fell for each other straight away.

Jason, who is 16 years her junior,  added: “I mean I didn’t tell her that. I didn’t let her know I was a stalker until after we had the kids.”

He added: “If someone says something isn’t possible. I’m like, ‘Listen here, I married Lisa Bonet. Anything is f**king possible.’”

Unfortunately, after 16 years and two children together, the couple decided to go their separate ways.

Joe Manganiello & Sofia Vergara

Back in 2014, Joe, 46, was playing the role of a werewolf on the hit TV series True Blood and was just finding his feet as an actor.

During the final season, Joe sat down with People magazine to talk about his desires and when asked what he was into “looks wise”, he immediately revealed it was Sofia Vergara.

“Girls that do squats,” he explained. “I love a butt. Sofia Vergara, that’s it.

“She’s got that Latin thing going. She’s got the butt, she’s got curves, she’s got a beautiful face, beautiful hair, just gorgeous. And she’s feisty!”

He said this just two months after he met the actress while she was engaged to ex-fiancé Nick Loeb.

As soon as she was single, however, he started chasing after her and by the end of 2014 he got down on one knee and proposed.

After seven years of marriage, the pair decided to divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences”.

Victoria and David Beckham

During an appearance on The Ellen Show in 2019, Victoria confessed that she married her first crush.

During a round of quick fire ‘Burning Questions’, Ellen, 65, asked Posh Spice, 49, who her first celebrity crush was.

She replied: “David Beckham,” to which Ellen replied: “Really? Wow, that’s fantastic that you married your first crush.”

Victoria explained: “It’s about creative visualisation.”

And when asked if she had a crush before him, she insisted that she didn’t.

Her manifestation technique worked wonders as she met the footballer in 1997 and married him two years later. The pair are now parents to four children together and are going strong.

How does manifestation work?

Manifestation expert Emma Mumford revealed the top five methods to use

Manifestation coach and expert Emma Mumford, 30, explained that the concept is a “bit like karma” as what you give is what you get back.

“There are no limits to what you can manifest,” she explained, adding that she’s manifested her own two houses as well as her partner.

There are many methods to manifesting exactly what you want in your life, from emotions to money.

Become your own soulmate

“If you’re not your own soulmate, you’re not your own best friend then that’s where you need to focus first and look at why you’re not,” she said.

“Because the relationship you have with yourself hugely reflects out into your romantic and all relationships in life.”

She said this is to be able to match the energy that you want to attract.

Write down your dream list

Emma said you should write exactly what you want out of your dream relationship, job or life down onto a piece of paper.

Specificity is key here, she explained, as you want to “get those specific results reflected back to you”.

However, Emma warned that once you’ve written it down, it’s important to assess whether you are the things you’ve written down.

“I would definitely say become your list. That’s really important,” she said.

Creative thinking

Much like Victoria Beckham did, Emma said creative visualisation and meditation are useful tools to manifest what you want.

“They will sit and visualise and sit in those feelings of having that person, that relationship in their life,” she said.

“Because that helps you to be able to connect to the emotions, connect to the manifestation and bring it to you so much quicker.”

Emma believes people do this a lot more than they realise, but they call it ‘daydreaming’.

Daily affirmations

An affirmation is a statement with desired results, according to Emma.

She explained: “If you wanted to manifest a relationship, you would create – or find online – an affirmation that would read something like, ‘I am in a happy and healthy relationship’. So they start to affirm that it’s here, it’s in the present.

“I know a lot of celebrities love and use them. I think a lot of people who are into manifesting love affirmations because of how powerful they are. They work by rewiring the subconscious mind.”

Emma explained that it takes 21 days to change a habit or thought pattern. Repeating an affirmation once a day can train the mind into thinking a specific type of way, which “helps create your reality”.

Use your intuition

“I know that a lot of celebrities and high profile people are very, very into their spiritual practices,” Emma shared.

“I think they will use that intuition when they’re dating. They’ll think, ‘Okay, I feel this connection to this person’.”

She went on to share that people use their gut feeling, which inspires action.

“Inspired action is definitely another step of manifestation, it’s great to have an intention,” she continued.

“But you need to take action and meet the universe halfway, you can’t just say you’re going to win the lottery and then not even enter or play the lottery.

“You need to be in it to win it, even with manifesting love.”
