Although it might have been JD Vance’s special day this week as he was officially sworn in as the Vice President of the US during Donald Trump’s inauguration, royal fans could not contain their excitement as his three young children were introduced to the world.

Vance and his wife Usha are parents to three adorable children – sons Ewan Blaine, seven, and Vivek, four, as well as daughter Mirabel, three.

In a series of cute moments, the young family members stole the show with the two boys wearing matching navy blue suits for the occasion, and Mirabel wearing a red-riding-hood style coat with notable band-aids on her fingers.

But royal fans couldn’t contain their excitement as they noted similarities between the boys slumped over the balcony at the inaugural parade, and Prince Louis’s previous antics at prestigious royal events.

In a hilarious moment, Ewan appeared to pat his father on the head before proceeding to do the same to his mum.

In another moment, the boys were seen sitting by their dad, slumped over the balcony, with Vivek sweetly clutching a teddy bear.

Viral videos of the boys have spread across social media, with Instagram fans comparing the young children to Louis’s usual antics.

One fan exclaimed: “He’s the American version of Prince Louis!”

Another said: “They have Louis, we have Vivek!”

A third commented: “I think he and Prince Louis should have a playdate! Love this.”

Another felt for the parents exclaiming “You’re the Vice President, but you’re still a dad!” with the caption accompanying a laughing emoji.

From yawning at King Charles’s Coronation ceremony to stealing the show with his dance moves at Trooping the Colour 2024, fans can always rely on Prince Louis to lighten the mood, and it appears to be the same with JD Vance’s kids.

Vance, 40, was joined by his wife and kids when he was sworn in as vice president on Inauguration Day on January 20, 2025.

“My most important American dream was becoming a good husband and a good dad,” Vance said in his speech at the Republican National Convention in 2024.

“I wanted to give my kids the things I didn’t have when I was growing up.”
