One royal expert has suggested that it has “never been confirmed” whether Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis have ever met Princess Lilibet.
Lilibet, who is the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s youngest child and only daughter, was born in California on June 4, 2021.
The young royal, now aged three, has only made one visit to the UK. The visit, which took place in June 2022, coincided with her first birthday and celebrations marking the late Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee.
It was previously reported that during the visit to the UK, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle planned a party at Frogmore Cottage to mark their daughter’s milestone birthday.
Speaking of George, Charlotte and Louis, royal correspondent Danielle Stacey said: “It has never been officially confirmed whether the Prince and Princess of Wales and their children have met Princess Lilibet.”
Despite this, Danielle added that a meeting could have taken place privately during the Sussexes visit to the UK in 2022.
As reported by HELLO!, she added: “They may have spent some time privately with their niece during her first visit to the UK in June 2022 to celebrate the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
“However, Prince Harry only shared details about his children’s reunion with their grandmother in his memoir, Spare.”
She added: “Lilibet’s first birthday party, which took place at Harry and Meghan’s former Windsor home, Frogmore Cottage, on 4 June 2022, also clashed with William, Kate, George, and Charlotte’s public engagements in Cardiff.”
During a visit to Cornwall with Jill Biden, which occurred just days after Harry and Meghan welcomed their daughter, the Princess of Wales revealed that they were yet to meet their newborn niece.
Speaking to reporters, Kate sweetly said: “I wish her all the very best. I can’t wait to meet her. We haven’t met yet. I hope that will be soon.”
Unlike Lilibet, her older brother Archie has spend a little more time in the UK.
The five-year-old was born in the UK in 2019 – a time when his parents were still working members of the Royal Family.
