There may not be many spectacular Royal and Noble Jewels on Auction this month, but next week, a striking Victorian Diamond Tiara is going on Auction in the Christie’s ‘Jewels Online: The Hong Kong Edit’ Sale in Hong Kong on March 20th.
The striking Diamond Tiara is composed of round, old and single-cut diamonds set in a scrolled pattern of leaves topped with large diamonds.
The Tiara rests in a red Garrard & Co fitted case with a stamp from the Reign of Queen Victoria, suggesting that it was created between 1843 and 1901, when Garrard were the Crown Jeweller.
The Tiara has a pre-auction estimate of HKD 180,000 – HKD 280,000, but will likely exceed that.
