King Frederik X and Queen Mary of Denmark hosted a New Year’s Levée at Christian VII’s Palace in Amalienborg, followed by a Levée for the Diplomatic Corps at Christiansborg Palace on January 6th, after the New Year’s Court (Nytårskur) and Banquet.

Earlier, the King and Queen hosted a New Year’s Levée for the Supreme Court and the Officer Corps of the Royal Life Guard and Royal Hussar Guard Regiments at Christian VII’s Palace, Amalienborg.
King Frederik wore Uniform with his medals, the Sash and Star of the Order of the Elephant, and the insignia of his other Orders.
Queen Mary wore repeated gold gown with Diamond Earrings and Queen Lovisa’s Bracelet with the Sash and Star of the Order of the Elephant, King Frederik X’s Portrait Order, and the Badge of the Order of the Dannebrog.
