Coronation route will include accessible space – Royal Central

Part of the Coronation route will be a dedicated accessible space. There will be similar facilities at all the major viewing screens in London.

The accessible viewing area will be on the north side of the Mall. It will include first aid and mental health first aid facilities as well as accessible toilets.

At screening sites, viewing in accessible areas will be at ground level with a dedicated area for wheelchair users and people with mobility requirements. There will also be hearing loops and British Sign Language interpreters.

Huge TV screens will be put up in St. James’ Park, Hyde Park and Green Park for people to watch the processions to and from the Abbey as well as the Coronation service itself.

There will be big screens in 57 locations around the UK to allow wider access for people to watch the Coronation.

King Charles III and Queen Camilla will be crowned on May 6 2023 at Westminster Abbey.
