Duchess Sophie lived up to her stylish name for the 2024 Trooping the Colour by stepping out in a breathtaking yellow dress. The summery gown by British fashion brand Beulah London is £750 and can be found here in sizes 6 to 16, but if you’re looking for a high street alternative, we’ve found a similar style that is more than £500 cheaper.

Hobbs’ Acacia Silk Dress shares the same features as its designer counterpart with a vibrant lemon hue, as well as puffed long sleeves, flattering cinched in waist, round neckline and floaty skirt. Originally £329, it is on sale for £164 and you’ll enjoy free next day delivery.

Stocked in sizes 6 to 18, it would be ideal to wear to a summer celebration such as a garden party or a wedding, or taken on holiday for a special evening outfit.

The Hobbs dress is made from 100% silk for a luxury look and feel, however this does mean you’ll have to be careful the delicate material doesn’t snag on any jewellery. It can also only be dry cleaned.

Duchess Sophie’s lemon yellow midi dress is the perfect choice for events held on those chillier summer days as the skirt length and long sleeves mean you won’t need to bring a jacket to stay warm. The royal paired hers with the ‘Persephone Crepe Hat in Yellow’ from Jane Taylor Millinery and her drop earrings were from Giulia Barela.
