Queen Maxima of the Netherlands has shown once again that she is not afraid to get her hands dirty as she helped some little chefs make their way in the kitchen.

The Dutch queen was in Amersfoort in Utrecht to attend a conference called “More access to art and culture”.

The highlight of the conference was undoubtedly when she was able to join several children with their appropriate chef hats and bright red aprons as they prepared several different snacks and sandwiches.

The mother of three was happy to help the children as they learned basic cooking skills, chatting easily as she helped them assemble their food.

Queen Maxima is the honorary chair of the More Music in the Classroom foundation which works to help primary schools provide music education and exposure to different forms of culture.

She also was able to meet with teachers and learn more about how they are using music in their classrooms, as well as building more after-school programmes.

Ever the style icon, Maxima chose a coordinating look of wide-legged trousers and a blouse with large puffed sleeves in two different checks. She accessorised with a tan handbag, a thin tan belt, and light tan pumps.
