CBB’s Gary Goldsmith says Prince Harry threw niece Princess Kate ‘under the bus’ | Royal | News

Princess Kate’s uncle Gary Goldsmith has entered the Celebrity Big Brother house tonight – but he appears to have vented his own feelings on royal feuds before his big moment.

In an exclusive interview with The Sun, he said he would “never do anything to upset beautiful Kate” after the Middletons were reportedly “terrified” about his airing on the ITV1 show reboot. Gary, Carole Middleton’s brother, praised his niece in the publication.

He said: “She’s beautiful on the outside, but more beautiful on the inside and really is a doting mum –  so the way the monarchy is moving, it’s family-centric.

“That’s why I got so upset with Harry and Meghan because you don’t put a stick into that spoke and reinvent history.”

Mr Goldsmith said he felt “pretty miffed” when the Sussexes “had a pop” at his “beautiful niece” who couldn’t say anything for herself.

He added: “I think everyone felt the same about how much did we love Harry and then throwing your family under the bus just seemed inappropriate, especially what was happening with the Queen (Elizabeth II). I just thought it was totally unnecessary.”
