King Charles and Queen Camilla were escorted by German Eurofighter Jet Escort as they arrived on the RAF Voyager into the Berlin Brandenburg Airport, being received by a 21-gun salute and a military flypast after they alighted from the plane.

Afterwards, King Charles and Queen Camilla were received by Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and First Lady Elke Büdenbender in a ceremonial Welcome Ceremony at the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin, which was the first Official Welcome Ceremony at the Brandenburg Gate since the Second World War, one of the last being during the Yugoslavian State Visit in 1939.

Afterwards, King Charles and Queen Camilla were received by President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and First Lady Elke Büdenbender at Schloss Bellevue in Berlin to sign the guestbook. In the evening, the President will host a State Banquet in honour of the King and Queen.
