The Saxe-Meiningen Princess who worked as a Social Worker before marrying the distinguished Head of the illustrious House of Habsburg, Archduchess Regina wore this magnificent Diamond Wreath Necklace for decades!

Archduchess Regina was first photographed wearing the Diamond Wreath Necklace for the Wedding of Prince Hans-Adam II of Liechtenstein and Countess Marie Kinsky von Wchinitz und Tettau in Vaduz in 1967. The exact origin of the Necklace is unknown and while it may be a Habsburg heirloom, it is more likely this piece was inherited from the Saxe-Meiningen Family like her Pearl and Diamond Bandeau.
The Diamond Laurel Wreath Necklace was worn by Archduchess Regina for the Wedding Gala of her daughter, Archduchess Walburga, and Count Archibald Douglas in 1992.
Archduchess Regina also notably wore the Diamond Wreath Necklace for the Wedding Gala of Archduke Karl von Habsburg and Baroness Francesca Thyssen-Bornemisza in 1993.
The Diamond Laurel Wreath Necklace, with a Diamond Star at the clasp, was worn by Archduchess Regina for the Wedding Gala of Infanta Cristina of Spain in 1997.
Archduchess Regina wore the same Diamond Necklace later that month at the Wedding Gala of Archduke Georg of Austria and Duchess Eilika of Oldenburg in 1997.
The Wreath Necklace was worn by Archduchess Regina for the Wedding Gala of Princess Désirée of Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach married Count Florian von und zu Hoensbroech in 2000.
Archduchess Regina also wore the Diamond Laurel Wreath Necklace for her Golden Wedding Anniversary Celebrations in 2001, which was its last major appearance. The Necklace has not been publicly worn since her passing in 2010.
