Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, the elder son of King Abdullah II and Queen Rania of Jordan, will marry Rajwa Khaled bin Musaed bin Saif bin Abdulaziz Al Saif in a lavish ceremony in Amman tomorrow! While the soon-to-be Jordanian Crown Princess will likely wear a new Tiara, she could borrow a Tiara from Queen Rania, the leading candidate would be the Arabic Script Tiara!
Set with about 1,300 diamonds, including seven drop stones, topped by a large pear-shaped diamond weighing 20 carats, this striking Tiara is composed in scrolls of Arabic script from the Quran, saying: “Greatness for Allah”.
The Tiara was ordered by King Abdullah II of Jordan from Yan Sicard of FRED in 2005, whose son shared pictures of the tiara while it was being created.
Queen Rania first wore her Arabic Script Tiara for the State Banquet hosted by the Dutch Royal Family at the Noordeinde Palace during the Jordanian State Visit to the Netherlands in 2006.
Queen Rania wore the Arabic Script Tiara only one other time, when she was photographed by Mario Testino for the September 2008 issue of Vanity Fair, Spain. Even if the soon-to-be Crown Princess does not wear the Tiara tomorrow, lets hope we see it worn sometime soon!
