Angela Kelly, Queen Elizabeth’s dresser, moved out of Windsor home

Angela Kelly, Elizabeth II’s right-hand woman, waved as she moves her belongings out of her grace-and-favour home in Windsor.

The late Queen’s dresser, one of her closest confidantes, is relocating from her Grade II-listed cottage in Berkshire to the Peak District.

She was pictured waving as she carried a mop from her home, while removal men carried out paintings, a bike, weights and plant pots.

Liverpool-born Ms Kelly, who worked for the late Queen for more than 25 years, told friends on Instagram last month that she was moving north.

She wrote: “Getting ready to say goodbye. I am moving at last to my new home, which I will be able to call My Home at last.

“I’m moving to the Peak District just further on than Sheffield so not too far away from the family… Looking forward to my New Adventures.”
