The Prince and Princess of Wales released a new video on social media with an update on her health issues and a poignant look into their family’s life.

The Princess of Wales has shared a major update on her cancer treatment, saying ”As the summer comes to an end, I cannot tell you what a relief it is to have finally completed my chemotherapy treatment….doing what I can to stay cancer free is now my focus. Although I have finished chemotherapy, my path to healing and full recovery is long and I must continue to take each day as it comes.”

The Princess continued ”I am however looking forward to being back at work and undertaking a few more public engagements in the coming months when I can.”

The video also shared a rare look into the Waleses’ family life. Shot in Norfolk near their family home, Anmer Hall, William and Catherine were joined by their three children, Prince George (11), Princess Charlotte (9), and Prince Louis (6), as well as Catherine’s parents, Michael and Carole Middleton. 

Viewers were treated to shots of the family hiking through the forest, playing on the beach, swinging, and playing games together. There were also candid, behind-the-scenes clips of the children during filming. 

While the Wales family has understandably remained largely quiet this year as both The Princess and The King battled cancer, this new video has allowed the public to see that they are a strong family and have taken needed time together. And as The Prince and Princess have kept their family life private, it is wonderful to see George, Charlotte, and Louis relaxed and happy with their parents.
