Princess Margaret and the Earl of Snowdon attended magnificent Banquet given by the Amsterdam City Council at the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam on this day in 1965, 60 years ago, during their visit to The Netherlands for British Week in Amsterdam.
Queen Juliana and Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands joined Princess Margaret and the Earl of Snowdon for the Opening of British Week at the Amstel Hotel in Amsterdam.
The highlight of the visit was a magnificent Banquet given by the Amsterdam City Council for Princess Margaret and the Earl of Snowdon at the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam.
Princess Margaret wore the Lotus Flower Tiara, Queen Mary’s Pearl and Diamond Rivière, and her Diamond Fleur-de-Lys Brooch with the Order of the Netherlands Lion.
Lady Elizabeth Cavendish wore the Devonshire Cartier Opal Tiara.
Princess Margaret and the Earl of Snowdon were also joined by Queen Juliana at a Lecture for the Society of the Dutch-English Society.
