An unearthed video showing Meghan Markle’s supportive side has gone viral recently, in the backdrop of the latest allegations made against the Duchess.

The Duchess of Sussex caused a media storm this month after one of America’s most prestigious entertainment news sources, The Hollywood Reporter, published a report in which a current senior staffer alleged that she acts like a “dictator in high heels” and colleagues are “terrified” of her and her “belittling” behaviour towards them, dubbing her “Duchess Difficult”.

The report was followed by Us Weekly’s cover story which in turn cited various named and anonymous current and former employees of the Sussex couple who rushed to Meghan’s defence and praised her for her “kindness”, shorty before new claims were published by the Daily Beast, which alleged that Meghan made people “feel like s**t”.

But now a resurfaced clip which shows an old interview of Meghan alongside Suits co-star Sarah Rafferty has caused a right frenzy among the Duchess’s fans.

The two women talked to AfterBuzz TV Host Cathy Kelley back in 2014 to promote the show, with Ms Rafferty praising Meghan for “showing up and saving” her when she was struggling to balance motherhood with work.

She said: “I’ll give you an example, I was working till 4.30 in the morning on a Friday night and my husband was travelling for business, and on Saturday morning at 7.30—right about 20 minutes after the kids woke up—my front doorbell rings and it’s Meghan with scones and Starbucks.”

“We turned on cartoons,” she continued, “and the girls were like, ‘what is this amazing thing called a scone?’ And we let them eat them in bed and get crumbs everywhere, and it was just exactly what I needed, you know? Off in Toronto and [a] really, really delirious morning to have my friend show up and save me.”

Meghan replied: “We’re all in Toronto where we filmed the show, so we’ve become a little family. So really, I think we all sort of lean on each other. I don’t have to balance two beautiful little girls like Sarah does but she does it so well. We all just manage to support each other with whatever comes up.”

“We’re lucky enough to have five, six, seven seasons. These friendships that you see us develop on camera are really a reflection of how well we all get along off-camera.”

The video was followed by the description: “This is the real Meghan Markle. The kind, generous friend who shows up with scones for you and your kids after a long day.”

It has amassed more than 57,000 views and 3,500 likes, with fans praising the duchess in the comments.

One user wrote: “Everyone who knows Meghan well says only good things about her.”

Another one added: “Meghan is lovely.”

A third one said: “This is so refreshing to see a great friendship. The haters are not going to see anything positive about this.”

A fourth one commented: “She’s beautiful inside out.”

The latest claims follow previous bullying allegations which were made against the Duchess back in 2018, which she has long and vehemently denied.
