The Princess of Wales detailed what Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis got up to during the Euro 2024 final releasing a new picture of the royal children.

Alongside the snap, Princess Kate and Prince William released the message: ” England, your teamwork, grit and determination were an inspiration to all of us, young and old. Congratulations to Spain. W and C”

Charlotte and Louis are pictured both sporting personalised England shirts, complete with their names and ages.

Whilst Charlotte and Louis likely watched the game at home, Prince George witnessed the game at the Olympiastadion in Berlin. The 10-year-old had travelled to Germany with their father, Prince William.

Following the devastating defeat, William issued his own personal message on the couple’s X account.

This message read: “This time it just wasn’t meant to be. We’re all still so proud of you. Onwards @England. W.”

As well as cheering on the Three Lions, the pair were seen covering their faces with disbelief after Spain’s second goal.

The Prince of Wales, who is president of the Football Association, also attended the nail-biting Euro 2024 quarter-final match last week.

Whilst William and George travelled to Germany, Princess Kate made her second appearance of the year at Wimbledon.

The royal, who is currently undergoing cancer treatment, attended the Mens Final with Princess Charlotte.

Upon arriving at the court, Kate – who also attended with her younger sister Pippa – received a warm welcome with a round of applause from the adoring crowds.

As well as Kate, Charlotte and Pippa, other notable attendees in the royal box included Tom Cruise, Benedict Cumberbatch, Andre Agassi and London’s Mayor Sadiq Khan.

Following his triumph, Kate, who is patron of the All-England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, presented the winner’s trophy to Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz after beating Serbia’s Novak Djokovic.
