Royal Guests and Relatives from around the world joined the Danish Royal Family for a spectacular Gala Performance at the Royal Theatre in Copenhagen on this day in 2004, 20 years ago, on the eve of the Wedding of Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark and Mary Donaldson following a Gala Dinner for the Danish, Faroe Islands, & Greenland Governments at Christiansborg Palace.
Crown Prince Frederik and Mary Donaldson sat within the Royal Box of the Royal Theatre in Copenhagen, while the rest of the Royal Family sat with the Royal Guests and Relatives in the Gallery.
Crown Prince Frederik wore White Tie with the Order of the Elephant and the Order of Dannebrog. The soon-to-be Crown Princess Mary wore a stunning Uffe Frank gown with the Danish Ruby Parure(for the second time) and the Sash and Star of the Order of the Elephant.
