PRINCE Edward was given the title of Duke of Edinburgh by his brother King Charles in March 2023.
It is a title previously held by his late father Prince Philip. Here, we look at where the new Duke resides and how long he has lived there.

The Duke of Edinburgh lives at The Mansion House Bagshot Park, located in the village of Bagshot.
He has lived there since his wedding to Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh in 1999.
It’s estimated that the Grade II listed building has 120 rooms, sits on 51 acres of land and is just 30 miles from London.
The surrounding grounds sit within the Windsor Great Park and house a private lake, as well as multiple stables.
Bagshot Park is a family home and is not open to the public, although it can be visible to passers by from a road close to the grounds.
The home has belonged to the Royal Family for more than 200 years, originally built for King Charles I in 1609.
Sophie moved in to the house following the 1999 wedding.
The Duke and Duchess have revealed areas of the inside of the house when appearing via video link for media engagements.
Their two children have also been residents in the house.
Lady Louise Windsor was their first, born in November 2003. She is currently studying at the University of St. Andrews.
Their youngest, James, was born in 2007. He took over his father’s former title of Earl of Wessex in March 2023.
Edward was born at Buckingham Palace in March 1964, and spent his early years there.
He moved to Gordonstoun school in Moray, Scotland, and was appointed head boy in his last term.
Gordonstoun is also where his father and brothers had studied before him.
He was a house tutor and junior master for two terms at Whanganui Collegiate School in New Zealand in 1982 during his gap year.
After moving back to England, he attended Jesus college, Cambridge, where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in History.
