The Spanish Nobility joined German Royalty in Austria for the spectacular Wedding of the Count of Quintanilla and Princess Teresa zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Sayn at the Filialkirche Sankt Lorenz near Mondsee in the Salzkammergut in Austria on this day in 1973, 50 years ago, followed by a Ball at the Sayn-Wittgenstein-Sayn Hunting Lodge at Fuschl am See near Salzburg.

The Wedding of the Count of Quintanilla, son of the Count and Aline Griffith, Countess of Romanones, and Princess Teresa zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Sayn (wearing the Sayn-Wittgenstein-Sayn Diamond Flower Tiara with the Countess of Romanones’ Diamond Bracelet), daughter of the Fürst zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Sayn and Baroness Marianne von Mayr-Melnhof, was held at the Filialkirche Sankt Lorenz near Mondsee in the Salzkammergut in Austria.

There was a spectacular Ball hosted by Marianne, the Dowager Fürst zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Sayn (wearing the Sayn-Wittgenstein-Sayn Diamond Flower Tiara) at her Hunting Lodge in Fuschl am See near Salzburg, where she was joined by her great friend, the Countess of Romanones (in her Emerald Necklace Tiara).

The Spanish Nobility was led by the Duchess of Alba (wearing the Alba Ducal Coronet)

Carmen Martínez-Bordiú, Duchess of Anjou and Cadiz (in the Franco Emerald Tiara) and Princess Maria Theresa of Bavaria, Marchioness of Castro
