Meghan Markle hinted at possible UK plans in an unearthed post from her lifestyle blog, The Tig.
The Duchess of Sussex had a penchant for Britain before meeting Prince Harry, which she revealed in a blog entry in 2014.
Her love of the UK emerged when she shared the recipe for her favourite tipple, the TIG Cup cocktail.
She wrote: “While I generally opt to wet my whistle with a glass of rosé or crisp Sauvignon Blanc, sometimes the day calls for a cocktail. Cue The TIG Cup.”
Meghan added: “Having a love of all things Brit, I wanted to do a twist on their signature Pimm’s Cup. This is a guaranteed crowd-pleaser, and a nod to the fresh-picked flavors of the season. Cheers!”
The unearthed post was shared on Instagram account Meghan’s Closet Chronicles and saw fans of the Duchess flocking to comment on it.
One Instagram user wrote: “How meant to be were/are they…. I am dying here, the signs were always there!!!”.
Another added: “It was the first thing I noticed, ‘all things Brit'”.
Before moving to Britain and her engagement to Prince Harry, Meghan loved London so much that her favourite haunt allowed the former actress to leave her luggage behind between trips.
Prince Harry made the revelation about private members’ club, Soho House, in his best-selling memoir, Spare.
The Duke wrote how Meghan had suggested the venue for their first date, describing the exclusive club as her headquaters while she was in the capital.
Meghan and Harry said in an interview after they announced their engagement that they met on a blind date in July 2016 after being set up by a mutual friend.
But in the couple’s docu-series, Harry & Meghan, they said their first encounter was on Instagram where they swapped numbers.
After their first two dates, Harry invited Meghan to Botswana, camping out under the stars on a five-day trip.
Months later, on November 27, 2017, the couple announced their engagement and went on to wed in private on May 16, 2018, before their royal wedding three days later.
