The British Royal Family celebrate the King’s Official Birthday at the annual Trooping the Colour Ceremony in London on June 17th, a month after his Coronation. The annual event of Trooping of the Colour has marked the official birthday of the Sovereign for more than 260 years, and this is the first of King Charles’ Reign.
King Charles III, the Prince of Wales, the Princess Royal and the Duke of Edinburgh rode on Horseback, while Queen Camilla, the Princess of Wales, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, the Duchess of Edinburgh, Sir Timothy Laurence, and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester were in carriages as they rode down the Mall from Buckingham Palace to Horse Guards Parade, where they joined other members of the Royal Family to watch the parade from the Major General’s office.

King Charles III, the Head of the Armed Forces, was joined by Queen Camilla, Colonel of The Grenadier Guards, the Prince of Wales, Colonel of The Welsh Guards, the Princess of Wales, Colonel of The Irish Guards, the Princess Royal, Colonel of the Blues and Royals, Duke of Edinburgh, Colonel of The London Guards, and the Duke of Kent, Colonel of the Scots Guards, to view the 1st Battalion Welsh Guards Troop their Colour, while the Sovereign’s Escort was provided by The Life Guards and The Blues and Royals.
Following the Parade, members of the Royal Family will return to Buckingham Palace and appear on the Balcony to the Royal Air Force Flypast.
