The Princess of Wales will join the Royal Family at the Cenotaph on Remembrance Sunday to pay tribute to those who have died in conflict.

The Princess will watch from a balcony overlooking Whitehall as the solemn act of commemoration takes place.

It will be her second set of public engagements since revealing earlier this autumn that she has completed chemotherapy treatment. The Princess of Wales announced in March that cancer cells had been found following the major abdominal surgery she underwent in January and that she would undergo preventative chemotherapy.

However, it’s not yet known whether Queen Camilla will be well enough to attend – she has been resting at her home in Wiltshire after developing a chest infection.

King Charles III will lay a wreath on behalf of the nation on Remembrance Sunday. The Prince of Wales will also lay a wreath at the Cenotaph.

The Princess Royal and her husband, Sir Timothy Laurence, as well as the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester and the Duke of Kent will also attend.

They will also be at the Royal Albert Hall on the evening before for the Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance where King Charles will lead the Royal Family with the Prince and Princess of Wales at his side. However, Queen Camilla will, once again, have to take medical advice before deciding whether to take part.
