This week, King Charles III and Queen Camilla’s annual Summer Holiday at Balmoral Castle came to an end, after they continued a 170 year-old Royal Family tradition of spending the summer in Scotland.

Every summer for the past 170 years, the Royal Family have gone to Balmoral Castle and the 50,000 acre Balmoral Estate in Scotland, where they enjoy a traditional lifestyle of hunting, fishing and shooting. This documentary looks at the history of the most private of the Royal Family’s residences and how they live their life away from the public eye.
