The Queen and Queen Mother led members of the extended Royal Family at the Wedding of Lady Sarah Armstrong-Jones and Daniel Chatto at St. Stephen’s Walbrook Church in London on this day in 1994, 30 years ago.
After arriving on the arm of her father, Lady Sarah Armstrong-Jones, the only daughter of Princess Margaret and Antony Armstrong-Jones, Earl of Snowdon, married Daniel Chatto at St. Stephen’s Walbrook Church in London.
The simplicity of the 30-minute service caught everyone by surprise, even the driver was not in his place when the couple exited the church, causing them to stand outside for a few minutes before they drove to the Wedding Breakfast held by the Queen Mother at Clarence House.
Lady Sarah wore a striking Jasper Conrad Gown allowing with the specially created Snowdon Diamond Flower Tiara and Princess Margaret’s Greville Pearl Earrings.
