Royal Family LIVE: Prince Harry sent Firm ‘symbolic message’ | Royal | News

Prince Harry was trying to send a message to the Royal Family with one “symbolic” major move, a royal commentator has claimed.

June 29 marked one year since the Duke and Duchess of Sussex officially vacated Frogmore Cottage, with the five-bedroom property in Windsor still being empty.

Back in April, newly filed documents revealed that the duke, listing his full name, Henry Charles Albert David Duke of Sussex, listed the United States as his “new country/state usually resident”, with the date of change listed as June 29, 2023 – the same day Buckingham Palace the Sussexes had vacated their former UK residence, Frogmore Cottage.

Now royal commentator Esther Krakue told Sky News Australia’s Royal Report programme: “It’s very interesting that Prince Harry chose to date his official US residency on the day he was kicked out of Frogmore Cottage.”

She added: “I think he was trying to send a message and it was very symbolic and I think the biggest message here is that it represents everything that could have been and is not and has been lost. Potentially it represents what actually should never have been.”
