Queen Elizabeth II to be remembered at the Chelsea Flower Show in poignant floral tribute – Royal Central

Queen Elizabeth II will be remembered at the 2023 Chelsea Flower Show in a special garden which celebrates her life.

The late monarch almost always attended the annual horticultural show held at the Royal Hospital Chelsea, with it being one of the first events marked on her calendar each year.

The King, joined by Queen Camilla, will attend this year’s show – although the late sovereign will very much be in the thoughts of all those attending.

Amongst the displays Their Majesties will view is The Garden of Royal Reflection and Celebration.

Designed by Dave Green, this garden both represents a celebration of the Coronation of Their Majesties and remembers Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

Whilst viewing this garden, a special presentation will take place, before the King and Queen attend a private reception.

Buckingham Palace says the Duke & Duchess of Gloucester will also be in attendance, as will Prince & Princess Michael of Kent.

Established in 1913, the Chelsea Flower Show has become the pinnacle of the horticultural calendar and is one of The Royal Family’s favourite events to attend.

Queen Elizabeth II served as the patron of the Royal Horticultural Society, the organisation responsible for organising the event. During her reign, she attended all but 13 of the flower shows.
