Queen departs London, 1964 | The Royal Watcher


Prince Charles, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew and Prince Edward joined Queen Elizabeth II as she departed London after Trooping the Colour on this day in 1964, 60 years ago, travelling from Euston Station to spend the Summer at Balmoral Castle.

Queen Elizabeth II boarded the Royal Train at Euston Station in London on her way to Balmoral Castle in Scotland.

Earlier, the Queen Duke of Edinburgh presented baby Prince Edward on the balcony at Buckingham Palace, following the Trooping of the Colour Ceremony.
