Queen Camilla, is undertaking a series of ceremonial events and community engagements in the Isle of Man this afternoon.
Camilla is set to arrive on Manx shores to officially declare the island’s capital a city – Douglas was awarded the status in May 2022 as part of Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations. The Queen will meet a variety of local groups, charities, and dignitaries and is set to unveil a plaque in Douglas, and meet the local mayor.
The ‘keep calm and carry on’ work ethic comes despite Princess Kate being a victim of an alleged security breach after staff attempted to view medical records during her stay at The London Clinic for her abdominal surgery earlier this year.
Kate, who has stepped away from the spotlight, as she recovers, was recently spotted with Prince William as she picked up goods from a local farm shop close to her home, Adelaide Cottage in Windsor.
Queen Camilla has joined the wider Royal Family at a string of recent royal events including the prestigious sporting event, the Cheltenham festival, where she was spotted wearing a dark green coat and striking patterned scarf. Other royals in attendance for the equestrian event were Princess Anne, Princess Eugenie, and Mike and Zara Tindall.
