Princess Kate makes VERY flirty comment as she compliments Iceland boss

KATE Middleton joked with the chair of Iceland that he was looking “super fit” during her visit to the supermarket.

The Princess of Wales, 41, made an appearance at the store in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, last month.

Iceland were honoured with a visit from the royal as part of her continuous bid to try and improve early years development.

The initiative is part of Kate’s new business Taskforce for Early Childhood.

Chatting with chairman Richard Walker in the frozen food aisle, the pair discussed his upcoming plans to climb Mt Everest.

And in a new clip posted to Richard’s Instagram account, the light-hearted moment with Kate was revealed.

In the video, Kate joked: “So that’s why you’re looking super fit!”

Richard said: “We were exactly the sort of people you hear about who have no business being on the mountain.”

Kate said: “Love that!”

Richard is taking on the huge task to raise money for an Alzheimer’s charity after he lost his mum to the disease aged 63.

The Iceland boss previously raised £1million – but wants to hit £2m.

Kate added: “I am so sorry for your loss, but I’m sure she would be so proud; not only of what you’re doing here at Iceland but also your ambition for the future as well.

“So, very exciting times ahead for you – if not a little bit terrifying!”

The mum-of-three donned a £70 white Zara blazer and blue jeans for her visit.

She was there urging business leaders to prioritise wellbeing in the workplace to support family life.

It comes after Kate urged business leaders in the City of London to champion social and emotional development.

Previously speaking at NatWest’s HQ, she said it was time to think “radically” in order to create a workforce that is “resilient, flexible and able to work through differences with each other”.

She added: “The healthy development of our children relies on healthy adults.”

Nine global firms, including Unilever, Ikea, Aviva, Deloitte, Co-Op and Lego, have already signed up to her initiative and it is hoped that many more will join.
