Princess Kate is visiting 1st The Queen’s Dragoon Guards (QDG) for the first time today where she is meeting members of the Regiment and their families, as well as getting stuck in with elements of operational life.
The royal looked chic in an all black ensemble, featuring a blazer, turtleneck jumper and trousers. She’s wearing her long brown hair down with a side parting.
But Kate soon switched her formal attire for military camo uniform as she got stuck in on her royal visit by driving an armoured vehicle.
She received a brief on the Regiment from Senior Officers and got a taste of what the officers do on a day-to-day basis.
Kate learned about the Jackal 2 high mobility weapons platform, seeing how the team communicate via radios when deployed, and how they utilise reconnaissance drones.
