Princess Anne’s absence by horse injury ‘solidifies’ key thing in King Charles’s reign | Royal | News

Veteran royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams claimed her short break from duties highlighted how “pivotal” her work is to how the Royal Family operates.

He told the Express: “Her [Princess Anne’s] charitable work is pivotal to the way the Royal Family operates and she normally carries out the most engagements.

“She is reliable, dislikes fuss and has a very special relationship with Save the Children.

“She has always been popular with the public.”

Previously, Mr Fitzwilliams told us how Anne would have not liked being asked to slow down from royal engagements as he labelled her the “most impatient patient” as she waited for her recovery to finish.

He said: “She [Princess Anne], like her father the late Prince Philip, won’t enjoy being asked to slow down and she will be a most impatient patient.

“She found the lockdowns frustrating as she could not meet people, whilst doing her charitable work, which she loves.”

Due to Anne’s concussion, the royal was said to be unable to remember precise details of the incident, however, her medical team said her head injuries were consistent with a potential impact from a horse’s head or legs.
