Prince William told to use ‘clever’ PR move utilising two key royals in process | Royal | News

Prince William has been urged to exploit a “clever PR strategy” to boost the ranks of working royals, an expert has suggested.

The Royal Family has undergone major changes over the past five years, with the departure of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle – paired with Prince Andrew’s forced retirement – causing a considerable shortage of working royals.

The Prince of Wales has seen calls to bring in cousins Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugene to help increase the after the King and his wife Kate, the Princess of Wales had to take a step back from official duties because of ill health.

While His Majesty has resumed his public-facing engagements last month after undergoing cancer treatment, Kate is not expected to return until she gets her doctors’s permission to do so.

PR expert Branda Christensen argued Beatrice and Eugenie could prove to be the perfect solution to “alleviate” the pressure William and other working royals have been facing in recent months.

Beatrice is also tipped to join King Charles as he embarks on a state visit to Japan next month.

And as the Princess of Wales is expected to stay home for His Majesty’s official birthday on June 15, the daughters of the Duke and Duchess of York might join senior royals on the Palace’s balcony once again.

The late Queen and King Charles both favoured having fewer family members on the balcony in recent years.

However, the special circumstances may force him to push ahead with the return of his nieces and their families to the Trooping the Colour parade.
