It is not known what William and Trump spoke about today, however it is a known fact that the US President is a big fan of the Prince of Wales.
After meeting William at the official reopening of the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris last year, Trump was very complimentary of the prince.
As well as saying William was “doing a fantastic job”, he also described the dad-of-three as a “good man”.
After attending the Pope’s funeral alone today, William was quick to receive praise from royal fans online.
One person wrote on X: “He is every inch a statesman. Upright, honest, and dignified.”
Another said: “His suit and tie is on point and Wills is looking every inch a statesman.”
A third wrote: “He always steps up and always looks immaculate. We are so lucky to have him.”
Princess Kate did not accompany her husband to the funeral on Saturday and instead is believed to have stayed at the couple’s home in Windsor with their three children Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, nine, and Prince Louis, seven.
