Prince Louis had a special handwritten message for some very important people in his life.
Attending the Together at Christmas service organised by his mum, the Princess of Wales, Louis joined other guests in leaving a note on the Kindness Tree outside Westminster Abbey.
The prince wrote a special note for his ”granny and grandpa” – Carole and Michael Middleton who were both at the service.
Louis wrote ”thank you to granny and grandpa because they have played games with me.”
He tied the letter to the branches of the tree alongside hundreds of other messages.
Earlier, Louis had arrived at the service with his dad, the Prince of Wales, and his brother and sister, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
The Princess of Wales, who had been at the Abbey since early afternoon to meet performers and check final arrangements, met them at the door.
The Royal Family was out in force for the celebration. The Duchess of Edinburgh, the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester and the Duke of Kent were there as were Prince and Princess Michael of Kent. Princess Beatrice attended with her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, and her stepson, Christopher.
Lady Gabriella Kingston, who earlier this week attended the inquest into the death of her husband, Thomas, was also present as was her brother, Lord Frederick Windsor, who was accompanied by his wife, Sophie, and their two daughters, Maud and Isabella.
Lady Sarah Chatto, King Charles III’s cousin, was also present with her sons.
Over 1,600 people were invited to the celebration, chosen for their support of others. The theme of this year’s Together at Christmas was love and empathy.
The Christmas carol service will be shown on ITV1 and ITVX on Christmas Eve.
