Prince Harry has to 'get his act together' for King Charles to forgive him

Prince Harry needs ‘to get his act together’ be accepted again by the Royal Family, a royal expert has claimed.

Prince Harry’s potential return to the Royal Family hinges on more than just King Charles’s willingness to forgive, it also requires Harry to make significant changes, according to journalist Nigel Nelson.

As speculation grows that King Charles may be open to reconciling with his estranged son, insiders suggest that Harry needs to meet his father halfway.

Nelson told GB News that while King Charles is deeply committed to his faith and values forgiveness, the onus is also on Harry to improve his behaviour.

“King Charles is very devout. He has been all his life, like his mother.

“The advice from the Church of England, for instance, is big on forgiveness—’Forgive Harry, just bring him back into the fold.’ But Harry also has to get his act together, so it works both ways,” Nelson said.

The strained relationship between Prince Harry and Prince William further complicates matters, with many questioning whether the rift is even repairable.

“That rift sounds like one that’s going to be very difficult to mend,” Nelson said.

“If it is mendable, who would be in a better position to mend it than their father? But for reconciliation to happen, Harry needs to demonstrate that he’s ready to be part of the family again.”

The Royal Family’s trust in Harry has been severely tested by the revelations in his memoir Spare and his and Meghan Markle’s public criticisms of the monarchy.

The book, in which Harry referred to Queen Camilla as his “wicked stepmother” and disclosed private family conversations, has particularly strained relationships.

A source told The Sunday Times: “The problem for the King and other members of the family is the worry that if they have a chat with Harry, it will appear in Spare volume two.

“How do you regain the trust? I don’t think Harry ever can. But from the conversations I’ve had with the King, I would never say their relationship is irreparable.

“The King’s capacity to forgive his son is undimmed.”

However, the source also acknowledged that while King Charles may be willing to forgive, other members of the Royal Family remain more skeptical.

“There are other members of the royal family who are much more weighted against Harry, and that’s the problem.”
