Prince Harry and Meghan Markle told to give King Charles a 'break'

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle “are all about the future” as the royal couple ready themselves for Part Two of their American future after stepping down from royal duties in January 2020.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped out on their own to become financially independent leading to them signing a five-year, £76 million ($100 million) contract with Netflix in September 2020 to produce documentaries, docuseries, feature films, scripted shows and children’s programming but have only released this docuseries so far.

But royal commentator Esther Krakue has warned the royal couple against their continued on the monarchy.

She told TalkTV: “Give King Charles a break because in all of this, we’re not thinking this man is 75, we don’t know how long has has left.

“We all know that the older you get the more you think of your legacy and what to pass on.

“I think if I was in their shoes, I would think let me just give this old man a break. Anything they have in the pipeline, whatever they want to say can wait because we know Meghan has a book potentially coming out.

“We know that they’re thinking of doing more creative projects which is fine but they know they have to highlight their connection to the Royal Family in some way to make anything that they do successful.”

Despite some successes, the couple has faced a few bumps along the way. They parted ways with Spotify after just one season of Archetypes.

Their releases, Heart of Invictus and Live to Lead, received a muted response, while an animated series called Pearl was scrapped early in development.

However, the couple remain a strong team, with a source telling People magazine that they appear “so in love.”
