Prince Harry and Meghan Markle suffer fresh blow to Netflix deal following Emmy snub | Royal | News

Harry and Meghan signed a lucrative deal with Netflix, reportedly worth more than £77 million ($100 million), after they quit their royal duties in 2020.

Their first project for the streaming giant was their explosive docuseries Harry & Meghan, which sparked controversy as it detailed their love story and life within the Firm up until their departure in 2020.

Apart from Heart Of Invictus, they’ve also released Live To Lead.

Their latest projects for the streaming giant will focus on cooking and polo.

Meghan is said to have finished filming her cookery show which will “celebrate the joys of cooking, gardening, entertaining, and friendship”.

She will curate the series, which will see Leah Hariton as showrunner, and Michael Steed as director.

The show, which has yet to be named, was announced back in April, with its release date still unknown.

It will be produced by Sony Pictures Television’s Intellectual Property with the duchess, Hariton, Archewell’s Chanel Pysnik, and IPC’s Aaron Saidman and Eli Holzman serving as executive producers.

The second series is said to “provide viewers unprecedented access to the world of professional polo”.

It will feature Miloš Balać as showrunner and Meghan, her husband Prince Harry, Psynik, Ian Samplin and Boardwalk Pictures’ Andrew Fried, Sarina Roma, and Dane Lillegard as executive producers.
