Morgan’s violent rant already sparked a wave of backlash on social media at the time.

Viewers were especially enraged as his incendiary comments came in the wake of King Charles III’s diagnosis and treatment for cancer.

“Why not concentrate on the fact that the King of England has cancer instead of spending time bashing Prince Harry and Meghan?” one X (formerly Twitter) user asked, per the Mirror.

“Not once did I hear Piers say he was wishing the King a recovery.”

Another person said: “Piers Morgan is crying that he wants to dismember Prince Harry.

“You ever see those extractions that people pull out of their ears? That’s Piers – a big thick piece of flesh that’s basically decay inside of a pore of a human’s skin.”

Others claimed Morgan should be “locked up” for what he said, with one user even alerting the London police.

Morgan has not addressed his comments since the original broadcast.

Express.co.uk has approached Piers Morgan’s representatives for a response.
