Piers Morgan breaks silence on Meghan Markle before ‘switching off’ | Celebrity News | Showbiz & TV

Piers Morgan has finally reacted to Meghan Markle’s debut show. On Tuesday, the Duchess of Sussex’s highly-anticipated cooking show, With Love, Meghan, dropped on Netflix, as she hosted a wide variety of her famous friends on-screen.

The Uncensored presenter, 59, claimed he only tuned into the show for ten minutes before switching off. Piers has been vocal about Meghan’s latest endeavour which has received mixed reviews from critics.

Taking to X today (March 5) the journalist revealed he took the opportunity to watch the show before he delivered his verdict, writing, “Appalled by the universally savage reviews for this heart-warming and inspirational new series about how to make coffee.

“I found all ten minutes that I could endure of it this morning genuinely hilarious!”

Piers’ comments sparked a social media divide as many rushed to her defence.

One social media user vented: “Piers why are u always salty…”(sic) Another mused: “I enjoyed it. I liked the garden.”

A third wrote: “After only 24 hours it’s already one of the most watched programmes on the network in the US and UK.”

While a fourth added: “I’m sure she won’t be bothered.”

However, others appeared to agree with Piers, as one claimed: “I gave her show a chance. Could only watch about 30 minutes.” Another remarked: “That’s savage.”

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex invites friends and famous guests to a beautiful California estate, where she shares cooking, gardening and hosting tips.

The Netflix offering has been met with mixed reviews by some critics.
