Peterborough Petes revamp marketing department

The Peterborough Petes have revamped their marketing team for the 2022-23 season.

Adam King was promoted in July to marketing director after serving as game operations and major events co-ordinator.

He joined the team from Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment where he was a game presentation co-ordinator with Toronto FC, Argonauts, Maple Leafs and Marlies.

Jordan Downer takes over as game operations and major events co-ordinator. He joined the Petes in 2013 as a volunteer and has held multiple part-time roles with the team including game night host and DJ.

Morgan Blaind is the new co-ordinator of administration and community engagement. She joined the Petes as an intern in 2021 and soon transitioned into a part-time role after graduating from the sport management program at Durham College.

Connor Massie rejoins the Petes as communications co-ordinator handling the Petes social media, public relations and graphic design. He originally joined the Petes in January 2020 as the game operations intern, later moving into a marketing role with the team. He then worked as game operations and community events manager for the Cape Breton Eagles (QMJHL), before returning to the Petes in August.
