Meghan Markle stunned in a mauve linen ensemble by Ralph Lauren for her latest TV interview with CBS with gold and diamond Cartier accessories costing an eye-watering £13,475 for her whole look.
Discussing cyber abuse alongside her husband, Prince Harry, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex sat down to talk to CBS Sunday Morning interviewer, Jane Pauley.
A preview of the clip was shared on social media, ahead of Sunday’s airing with Meghan head-to-toe in one subtle colour. Meghan looked summery in her matching Ralph Lauren co-ords. She opted for an ‘Adrien’ relaxed fit linen-blend shirt costing £775 paired with the ‘Evanne’ linen trousers at £915.
Around her neck was her ‘juste un clou’ choker, by Meghan’s favourite jewellery designer, Cartier. The yellow and gold diamond necklace has been worn by the Duchess to other invents including the Invictus Games opening ceremony in the Netherlands. The necklace joins other striking pieces in Meghan’s Cartier collection including the Love Bangle and the Tank Watch, which she has been pictured in since stepping into the public eye.
Opting for her signature hair style, Meghan wore her hair out with loose waves, and kept her makeup subtle. She used a dark pencil for her eyebrows and added highlighter and bronzer to her cheeks.
One royal fashion fan admired Meghan’s look: “Her makeup looks so good in these photos. She seems to gravitate towards these neutral colors. I actually like this color.”
Another questioned Meghan’s love of neutrals: “I respect Meghan’s love for the neutrals but I would love to see her in a pop of colour. Given the nature of the interview, I get why she stuck to her neutrals…”
Instagram user, @katiefrost318 wrote: “She definitely loves her neutrals, and they look good on her. She’s also loving that necklace lately.”
One fan preferred the tailored look on Meghan: “This is a great neutral tone on her, and she looks more tailored and put together than in some past looks- the shirt is blousy but not wrinkled, casual yet serious for the discussion at hand.”
Meghan and Harry spoke about child online safety in the interview, with the prince saying parents have to be “first responders”.
The Prince went on to say that “terrifyingly” many parents do not know to “tell the signs of possible suicide”.
The interview will appear on CBS’s Sunday morning show three years on from their bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey.
Throughout the new clip, Meghan and Harry also speak about how parents need to protect children from online harm- all whilst reflecting on their own experiences with their two young children.
Speaking of Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, Meghan said: “Our kids are young, they’re three and five, they’re amazing, but all you want to do as parents is protect them.”
