Meghan Markle has revealed that she tidies up her hotel room before checking out on her new Netflix series. Joined by chef Roy Choi in one of the With Love, Meghan’s episodes released on Tuesday, Meghan said, “I do that, too” when the cooking giant revealed he likes to tidy up as he cooks. Speaking to Roy, she added: “I’m not messy in the kitchen. I always clean as we go.”
Roy also revealed that he likes to clean hotel rooms before he checks out – with Meghan, 43, sharing that she does the same. After Roy’s revelation, Meghan replied: “I do. I just tidy, I make the bed or put the dirty towels in the bathtub, right?” Meghan, who is mum to Prince Archie, five, and Princess Lilibet, three, shared that she picked up her cleaning habits because of her own mother, Doria Ragland.
She said: “Even if you don’t know the people, even if they don’t know who you are, I would just picture in my head, my mom or even my grandma going, ‘Where is your home training?'”
Meghan’s new series, which consists of eight 30-minute long episodes, has appearances from some of her friends – including The Office star Mindy Kaling and her longtime friend and makeup artist, Daniel Martin. Prince Harry, 40, also makes an appearance in his wife’s series – although their two children are not featured.
Suggesting how the Royal Family may feel about With Love, Meghan, former royal butler Grant Harrold shares that they will likely be “happy” for one major reason.
Speaking on behalf of JeffBet, he said: “This show is very different to what they have done before and I don’t believe that the Royal Family will have any issues with it. I think they will be happy with it. There is no gossip, it is just a cooking show and she is just talking about her life. I think it is very nicely done.”
