King of Malaysia’s Official Birthday 2023

The Raja Permaisuri Agong (Queen of Malaysia) joined the Yang di-Pertuan Agong (King of Malaysia) for his Official Birthday Celebrations at the Istana Negara in Kuala Lumpur on June 5th, which will be the last during the King’s Tenure as Yang di-Pertuan Agong, which will end at the end of January 2024.

Sultan Abdullah Ria’yatuddin Al Mustafa Billah Shah, The Sultan of Pahang and Yang di-Pertuan Agong (King of Malaysia) and Tunku Azizah Aminah, the Tengku Ampuan of Pahang and Raja Permaisuri Agong (Queen of Malaysia) [wearing the Gandik Diraja Tiara] received the Royal Salute by the Main Guard of Honour on a Royal Daisoutside the Istana Negara, which was followed by a review of the Guard of Honour.

Later, the Queen joined the Yang di-Pertuan Agong as he conferred federal awards, honours and medals to 839 individuals in an Investiture ceremony in the Balairung Seri of the the Istana Negara, which was followed by a Speech from the Throne.
