King Charles reveals when he will host Donald Trump

Buckingham Palace has announced the dates of the historic second State Visit to the UK by US President Donald Trump.

King Charles will host President Trump at Windsor Castle from September 17 until 19 September 2025.

The three day visit will include a glittering State Banquet at the Castle which the Royal Family is expected to attend.

President Trump will be the first elected politician to be hosted on two State Visits.

His first State Visit to the UK was in 2019 when Queen Elizabeth II hosted a series of events for him at Buckingham Palace.

The second visit has been on the cards since early this year when Sir Keir Starmer presented Donald Trump with an invitation for a visit when the two met met at the White House.

President Trump was delighted and signalled his intentions to come.

Buckingham Palace has now announced that the President has formally accepted the invitation from The King and will arrive on September 17 alongside First Lady, Melania Trump

Further details will be released in due course but the recent State Visit by the President of France, Emmanuel Macron, was hosted at Windsor and may provide a template for the US visit.
