Inside Queen Camilla’s incredible country home with acres of garden space, swimming pool and its own stables

TAKE a look inside Queen Camilla’s incredible country home with acres of garden space, a swimming pool and its own stables.

Ray Mill House, in Wiltshire, is the 17-acre private home of the Queen Consort.

Bought in 1994 for £850,000 following the divorce from her husband, the property is understood to be where Camilla, 75, feels most at home.

Camilla, who will be crowned next month, retreated to the residence after the late Queen’s funeral and mourning period last year.

Just a 15-minute drive from Highgrove, which she shares with King Charles, Ray Mill is more of a relaxed environment.

According to a royal source, Camilla can “sit down with a big G&T” and “watch Coronation Street” in this countryside mansion.

They added: “Camilla also doesn’t have to bother about how the place looks.”

Pictures of the property from a few years ago reflect Camilla’s love for the country and her style.

The simple décor also highlights her laid-back upbringing.

Floral curtains, yellow painted walls and patterned staircases ensure the true age of the home is maintained.

A huge outdoor balcony looks out onto the grounds – which was once home to sheep and other animals.

The bathroom hasn’t been modernised as it still has blue china for the sink, toilet and bath.

Undoubtedly expensive paintings hang above the fireplaces in each room.

Camilla’s love for the property was made clear when she decided to have her birthday portraits snapped there.

In summer when she celebrated her 75th birthday, she posed on the grounds.

Captured by Kate, the soon-to-be Queen smiled as she posed on a garden bench.
