The British Royal Family were joined by Royalty from The Netherlands, Luxembourg, Jordan, Nepal, Norway, Belgium and Denmark for a Heads of State Banquet at Guildhall in London in 1995, 30 years ago, marking the 50th Anniversary of VE Day, the end of the Second World War in Europe.
Prime Minister John Major and the Lord Mayor of London hosted Royalty from Britain, The Netherlands, Luxembourg, Jordan, Nepal, Norway, Belgium, and Denmark for the magnificent Heads of State Banquet at Guildhall in London, on the eve of the Service of Thanksgiving, Reconciliation and Hope in St Paul’s Cathedral.
A reception in The Guildhall for visiting heads of state, where the prime minister will be host, followed by a banquet, hosted by the Corporation of the City of London.
