Dutch State Visit to Belgium

King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium are hosting King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima of The Netherlands on their State Visit to Belgium from June 20th to the 22nd, which is the latest in the close relationship between the Dutch and Belgian Royal Families over decades. The themes of the visit are improving social and physical quality of life, combating climate change, maintaining and promoting a safe society and a sustainable future in which energy is green and affordable. The visit contributes to the further deepening of the intensive cooperation, in which the Netherlands and Belgium strive for a safe, clean and sustainable future.

In the evening, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde will host a State Banquet in honour of King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima at the Royal Chateau of Laeken, like the one hosted during the Dutch State Visit to Belgium on this day in 2006.
