The accomplished Arab-American who became the fourth wife of the late King Hussein and an influential philanthropist, Queen Noor possesses some splendid jewels, but has also borrowed some jewels over the years, like the Chaumet Talhouët Tiara!

A Diamond Scroll Tiara of a floral or vine motif with large brilliants at the center of each scroll, with an impressive cushion-cut diamond at the top, was made by Chaumet around 1908.
The Diamond Scroll Tiara was made for the Marquis de Talhouët in 1908, around the time the Marquis’ only daughter, Yvonne de Talhouët-Roy, married the Marquis de Nicolaÿ. Their son, Count René de Nicolaÿ, inherited the Talhouët Seat at the Château du Lude, and likely the Tiara as well, though at some point, the Tiara was reacquired by Chaumet.
In 1985, Chaumet loaned the Talhouët Tiara to Queen Noor of Jordan for a State Banquet during a State Visit to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
Over the decades, the Chaumet Talhouët Tiara has been frequently exhibited at Chaumet exhibitions around the world.
In 2021, the Chaumet Talhouët Tiara was among the Jewels, alongside the Chaumet Bourbon-Parma Tiara, Radziwiłł Tiara, and Chaumet Curvilinear Tiara, displayed by Chaumet for Victoria Romanovna Bettarini ahead of her Wedding to Grand Duke George of Russia.
